Explore the art of ceramics in this hands-on wheel-throwing and hand-building course. Students will gain experience in centering, throwing, and trimming clay to create functional and decorative ceramic works. During each class, students will spend a portion of the class on the wheel and a portion on hand-building or glazing. The class is open-ended and self-driven, and the instructor will provide support and advice to students as they work on their unique projects and develop their own style. Demonstrations and instruction in class will cover basic forms, surface design, and glazing techniques. An allotment of clay, use of tools, and firing services for pieces glazed by the end of class are included.

Refunds will not be issued for requests within 48 hrs of the start of any class or camp. A $12 administration fee is charged for all refund requests before 48 hrs of the start of this program. No refund, credit, or make-up will be provided for class sessions that a student may miss.
