Join this annual tradition in the Western Suburbs!

As the first major outdoor arts event of the season, Art in Wilder Park has become a signature spring celebration in the western suburbs. The festival garnered standout coverage last year in outlets such as the Chicago Tribune and Daily Herald and drew nearly half its visitors from beyond Elmhurst. Post-event surveys revealed that a significant portion of attendees also explored and supported local restaurants, cafés, and businesses—making the festival not only a cultural highlight but an economic boost for the community.

New offerings in 2026 include an Emerging Artist Pavilion and an enhanced Kids Court.

The Chicagoland area is home to over 300 artists coming out of prestigious programs each year. By tapping into this pool of talent, we hope to expand the support artists receive to continue their creative profession.

By the numbers:

  • Between 7,000-12,000+ visitors over 2 days

  • 100+ local vendors, businesses, and organizations on exhibit at the festival

  • The museum’s PR team Silverman and Associates will promote the event with a campaign
