Discover how drawing less can open up more room for creative expression and experimentation. This course focuses on the McCormick House and unfolds in three stages:
1. Observation and Simplification: We'll start by exploring what makes the McCormick House design unique and practice capturing the building and its surroundings with minimal lines.
2. Exploring Line and Pattern: Next, we’ll experiment with lines and patterns, examining how subtle shifts can transform an illustration's perspective and emotional impact.
3. Adding Color with Intention: Finally, we’ll dive into how color can bring mood, light, and depth to a piece—or sometimes detract from it, depending on its use.
