The McCormick House at Elmhurst Art Museum is a mid-century masterpiece designed by legendary architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. 

The documentary, Mies van der Rohe's McCormick House, directed by award-winning film maker Karen Carter Lynch, tells the story of the iconic house from its conceptual beginning through its move by flatbed truck to the Elmhurst Art Museum. 

Interviews, anecdotes, animation and period imagery provide a cultural context for the transformative changes in design and technical innovation that Mies van der Rohe pioneered in post-war, 1950's America.
