This course will be an opportunity to begin or expand on your journey with clay. We will cover a variety of basic wheel-thrown forms as well as learn coil and slab building. There will be two main projects that students will be encouraged to complete alongside their own self-driven work. The projects will be a wheel-thrown dinner set and/or a hand-built vase. We will also discuss surface techniques such as sgraffito and dip glazing.
