McCormick House Tour - 2022
The McCormick House is a single-family home designed in 1952 by Mies van der Rohe, one of the great architects of the 20th Century. It is one of only three free-standing residences designed and built by Mies in the United States--and one of only two open to the public.
Tours are led by museum docents and occasionally with special guides. Your ticket for the tour includes admission to the rest of the museum. Please check-in at the Front Desk of the museum upon your arrival.

COVID POLICY: The museum will continue to monitor metrics and follow state guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic, which includes the February 28, 2022 order by Governor Pritzker to partially lift the indoor mask mandate. This policy will go into effect for our visitors and staff for all areas of the museum’s facilities. We understand some individuals will choose to continue wearing masks and ask everyone to respect these decisions. Bullying or harassment regarding masking or non-masking will not be tolerated.
