Advanced Kintsugi with Mami Takahashi

Anyone is welcome to take this advanced Kintsugi session. In this 3-week class, 2 hours each session, you will learn to use Urushi (the Japanese lacquer tree) sap from the beginning of the mending process. You will experience using a moisture box for Urushi to be hardened, as well as a deep knowledge of other natural methods to assemble broken ceramics. You can work on your ceramic piece, but feel free to use broken ceramic plates provided by the instructor at the class if you prefer. Taking the "Kintsugi for Beginners" workshop is not required, but recommended to understand which method would be suitable for your future needs- modern (beginner's) techniques or the ancient traditional way.
