In this one-day intensive, you'll dive into the joy of experimentation, embracing mistakes, letting go of perfection, and thinking upside down instead of right side up.
Using abstract art as our north star, you'll find new ways of creating without relying on literal representation, learning to follow feeling, energy, and intuition instead of following the rules.
Using unconventional techniques that emphasize process over product, the instructor will test you with creative prompts and playful constraints designed to get you out of your head, loosen expectations, and reconnect with your creative instincts. You'll take home these expressions of play to remind you of what happens when you step outside your comfort zone.
Whether you're an experienced artist or simply looking to explore and let loose, this workshop is an invitation to take risks, trust the process, and discover what happens when you let go!
