ART IN WILDER PARK
May 3 & 4, 2025 10 am-5 pm
In partnership with the Elmhurst Park District
Deadline for applications - Wednesday, March 5, 2025
Each year, the region's premiere outdoor festival season kicks off with Art in Wilder Park, the highly anticipated Spring event in the western suburbs. In 2024, the event was featured in numerous press outlets including the Chicago Tribune and WGN News, and attracted over half of its 11,500 visitors from outside of Elmhurst. Post-festival evaluations showed a high percentage of the attendees also visited and supported local restaurants, coffee shops, and other businesses.
Festival programming features nearly 130 booths of one-of-a-kind art, food vendors, and hands-on kid’s activities, in addition to a newly commissioned public art installation by a recognized contemporary artist that corresponds to the Elmhurst Art Museum's summer exhibition. Partnerships with dozens of businesses and organizations expands the festival's family-friendly offerings while inviting festival goers to experience what makes this community so vibrant, creative, and welcoming to all.
